Municipal Project Engineer

About the role

Century West Engineering is a civil engineering firm focused on public works design projects that enhance community vitality and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and design team members on engineering deliverables, calculations, and project closeout.
• Provide actionable feedback on design work from other engineers and technicians.
• Visit project sites to observe field activities.
• Manage small projects under the supervision of a project manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Oregon, Washington, or Idaho.
• Experience and knowledge of local design standards for transportation and/or utility projects.

Qualifications

• Passionate about delivering effective solutions to improve communities.
• Comfortable using AutoCAD/Civil3D for transportation, recreational facilities, water, wastewater, and/or stormwater design projects.
• Thrives on teamwork and professional development.

Skills

• AutoCAD/Civil3D proficiency.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Project management and leadership abilities.
