About the role
Century West Engineering is a civil engineering firm focused on public works design projects that enhance community vitality and accessibility.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers and design team members on engineering deliverables, calculations, and project closeout.
- Provide actionable feedback on design work from other engineers and technicians.
- Visit project sites to observe field activities.
- Manage small projects under the supervision of a project manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Oregon, Washington, or Idaho.
- Experience and knowledge of local design standards for transportation and/or utility projects.
Qualifications
- Passionate about delivering effective solutions to improve communities.
- Comfortable using AutoCAD/Civil3D for transportation, recreational facilities, water, wastewater, and/or stormwater design projects.
- Thrives on teamwork and professional development.
Skills
- AutoCAD/Civil3D proficiency.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Project management and leadership abilities.
