Municipal Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Municipal Lead. This is a pivotal role that requires a dynamic individual with a robust engineering background and proven leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing municipal engineering projects, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineers and technicians in the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of municipal engineering projects.
- Utilize Civil3D and AutoCAD software to design and review engineering plans and drawings.
- Cook up with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee the preparation of engineering reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of municipal engineering services.
- Participate in meetings with clients to discuss project plans and address any concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal engineering, with at least 2 years in a project management.
- Proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD software.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Strong knowledge of municipal engineering principles, practices, and methods.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, other departments, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
