About the role

The City of Baltimore, Department of Human Resources is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our Municipal Fellowship Program. This is a paid, one-year fellowship designed for emerging leaders passionate about public service and community impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Support departmental projects and priorities aligned with municipal strategic goals
• Conduct research, data analysis, and policy review
• Aid in program development, implementation, and evaluation
• Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance community-focused initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, public policy, urban planning, business administration, or related fields
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to public service and community engagement
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
