Municipal Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Municipal & Site Design
• Perform design tasks involving: Stormwater management, Detention basin layout, Infrastructure rehabilitation, State and local permitting requirements
• Develop high-quality engineering drawings and technical documents
• Technical Documentation & Permitting
• Prepare engineering reports, technical memos, and supporting documentation
• Draft and assemble permit applications for state and municipal agencies
• Plan Review & Compliance
• Review subdivision and utility plans submitted by developers
• Ensure project compliance with municipal ordinances, including: Subdivision & land development, Zoning, Grading, Stormwater management
• Support Construction Administration Tasks & Escrow Tracking (when required)

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in site civil or municipal design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D for municipal-related projects
• EIT certification preferred (or in progress)
• Strong attention to detail and solid communication skills
