Responsibilities
- Process meat products using meat cutting/packaging machines and other equipment
- Support coworkers to meet safety, quality, and teamwork standards
- Contribute to a positive work environment
- Maintain a safe and efficient production line
- Ensure products reach families across America
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Willing and able to follow oral and written instructions
- Continuous/repetitive movement, including grasping, pinching hands, flexing, and extending arms
- Stand for up to a 12-hour shift
- Work around animal blood and/or carcass parts
- Work with knives (if trained)
- Work in cold and/or warm areas
- Work in a noisy environment
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Work with sanitation/cleaning chemicals
- Work around strong smells/odors
- Climb/move on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways and platforms
- Bend, stoop, and twist repetitively over the course of an entire shift
- Walk long distances
- May require certification to operate certain equipment
Qualifications
- Technical knowledge of computerized equipment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Attention to detail
Skills
- Physical stamina and endurance
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
