Job Responsibilities

  • Execute scheduled preventative maintenance on production machinery, facility infrastructure, and utility systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on a diverse range of manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to presses, ovens, conveyors, and packaging lines.
  • Perform repairs, adjustments, and replacements of defective parts, components, and systems using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Conduct basic welding, fabrication, and machining tasks as needed to support repair and maintenance activities.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate diagnosis and repair.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout protocols during all maintenance and repair operations.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and time spent, in the designated maintenance management system.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
  • Collaborate effectively with production personnel, engineers, and other maintenance team members to resolve operational issues and improve equipment reliability.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance or repair role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in at least two of the following technical areas: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment malfunctions.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Basic welding and fabrication skills are a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various physical positions.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
