A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered for external candidates hired into the position (half paid on the first full paycheck and half upon 6 months of hire; not applicable for candidates through external staffing agencies).
Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours to future residents and visitors
- Process documentation such as credit screening, criminal background checks, lease and move-in packages, and lease signing
- Inspect apartments prior to occupancy and ensure the apartment is in excellent condition prior to move-in
- Develop marketing plans with the goal to sustain occupancy as well as staying informed about the current market
- Use and create promotional items and technology to communicate with potential prospects and generate revenue
- Ensure the achievement of the property’s revenue and occupancy goals by directing the marketing, advertising, and sales activities, as well as ensure the apartments are available for occupancy
- Assist with the lease renewal program and the communication process
- Build relationships with prospective and future residents to ensure satisfaction and finalize decisions to lease and/or renew
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Prior experience in customer service or sales experience preferred
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with property management software preferred; Entrada experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work indoors approximately 95% of the time and outdoors approximately 5% of the time
- Use olfactory, auditory, and visual senses to inspect buildings and detect emergency alarms
- On occasion, perform physical inspections of the property which may include climbing up and down stairs or accessing restrictive openings
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Be accessible 24 hours a day in case of an emergency and perform on-site operations management during natural disasters (occurrences are rare)
- Transfer properties and work overtime as business needs deem appropriate
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Pay
$18/hr - $25.70/hr + incentives & bonuses
