A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered for external candidates hired into the position (half paid on the first full paycheck and half upon 6 months of hire; not applicable for candidates through external staffing agencies).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct property tours to future residents and visitors
  • Process documentation such as credit screening, criminal background checks, lease and move-in packages, and lease signing
  • Inspect apartments prior to occupancy and ensure the apartment is in excellent condition prior to move-in
  • Develop marketing plans with the goal to sustain occupancy as well as staying informed about the current market
  • Use and create promotional items and technology to communicate with potential prospects and generate revenue
  • Ensure the achievement of the property’s revenue and occupancy goals by directing the marketing, advertising, and sales activities, as well as ensure the apartments are available for occupancy
  • Assist with the lease renewal program and the communication process
  • Build relationships with prospective and future residents to ensure satisfaction and finalize decisions to lease and/or renew

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Prior experience in customer service or sales experience preferred
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with property management software preferred; Entrada experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Work indoors approximately 95% of the time and outdoors approximately 5% of the time
  • Use olfactory, auditory, and visual senses to inspect buildings and detect emergency alarms
  • On occasion, perform physical inspections of the property which may include climbing up and down stairs or accessing restrictive openings
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Be accessible 24 hours a day in case of an emergency and perform on-site operations management during natural disasters (occurrences are rare)
  • Transfer properties and work overtime as business needs deem appropriate
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Pay

$18/hr - $25.70/hr + incentives & bonuses
