Multi‑Process CNC Machining Technician — Tooling & Changeover

About the role

The Multi-Process CNC Machining Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining multi-process CNC machines, including tooling and changeover processes. This position requires proficiency in various machining techniques and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain multi-process CNC machines, including setup and changeover of tools and fixtures.
• Perform precision measurements using measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality of machined parts.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in regular safety training.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in CNC machining or related field.
• Proficiency in using multi-process CNC machines and associated tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience with multi-process CNC machines such as milling, turning, and grinding.
• Knowledge of metrology and measurement techniques.
• Basic understanding of computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM).

Skills

• Proficient in using CNC programming software.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with other team members.
