MACHINING TECHNICIAN - CNC Operator

Main duties

• Undertakes adjustment and setting of specific equipment in order to carry out machining operations, based on a dossier and blueprints.
• Uses the appropriate machining tools.
• Machines pre-production items and prototypes, follows established controls to validate the first items manufactured in a production run.
• Looks for potential improvements to reduce wastage and keep within production time.
• Detects machining faults and seeks corrective actions.
• Ensures the required traceability (product/process), and reports on his/her work.
• Carries out first-level maintenance on equipment.
• Provides technical support and tutors new starts.
