About the role
The Department of Neurological Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, Nebraska is searching for a board certified/board eligible neurologist with fellowship training in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology. The selected candidate will join our faculty and partner with two MS fellowship-trained physicians, experienced nurse practitioners and physician assistants, and dedicated MS nurse case managers.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the enhancement of our Multiple Sclerosis program and assist in further developing community services to boost access for patients with MS and other CNS demyelinating conditions through telemedicine initiatives.
- Teaching role with MS fellows, neurology residents, and students.
- Research activities.
- Provision of inpatient and outpatient services.
Requirements
A teaching role with MS fellows, neurology residents and students, research activities and the provision of inpatient and outpatient services are included.
Qualifications
- Board certified/board eligible neurologist with fellowship training in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology.
- Experience working with MS patients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong interest in and commitment to MS research and telemedicine initiatives.
