About the role

NBC6 / Telemundo 51 (WTVJ / WSCV) has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Multi-Platform Producer/Editor to join our award-winning duopoly Creative Services Team. This role reports to the NBC6 Promotions Manager and involves writing, producing, and editing breakthrough multi-platform promos.

Responsibilities

• Create, conceptualize, write, edit, and post-produce cutting-edge promos, commercials, videos, sales integrations, and social media content for digital and other channels in various formats.
• Manage deadlines while adapting to rapid changes and handling multiple assignments under pressure.
• Collaborate across departments in a team environment.
• Fill traffic logs and work a flexible schedule, including evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, and during breaking news or weather events.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
• Bring fresh ideas on deploying video and sound to support the brand across multiple platforms.
• Maintain a professional approach, good judgment, and high ethics.
• Understand big-picture trends and build positive client relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an on-air promotions writer/producer or multi-platform producer.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, Visual Arts, or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive experience scripting and editing short-form and long-form spots.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Audition.
• Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to multitask.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be willing to work in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area and travel as needed for special assignments.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
