Participates in training department personnel, including students.Utilizes extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology to obtain maximum diagnostic images.Attends required safety training programs and understands responsibilities related to general and job-specific safety.Follows hospital exposure control plans for bloodborne and airborne pathogens.Receives and reviews requests for CT/Diagnostic Imaging scan studies.Performs some clerical work. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively and document information accurately. [Required] Working knowledge of EMR is an asset [Required] Education High School Grad or Equiv [Required] Associate degree [Preferred] Field Of Study N/A Work Experience 1+ ct experience [Preferred]1+ radiologic experience [Required] Additional Information 1 hour of Hip & Knee Surgery Education within 6 months of hire dateAdditional licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on the specific unit or state in which this position is located.
