About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Multimodality Tech - Wells Branch Free Standing ED at St. David's North Austin Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - required
- One year experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting
- One year experience performing CT procedures - required
- Graduate from an accredited approved program in Radiologic Technology
- Completion of courses in computed tomography (CT) and cross-sectional anatomy
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David’s Healthcare policy
- Certified in Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (R))
- Certified in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (CT))
Skills
Demonstrates knowledge of human anatomy, disease processes and functions, patient care, positioning, principles of radiographic sciences, radiation protection, quality assurance, specialized techniques, and adheres to all Corporate Radiation Right policies.
