About the role
Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic imaging procedures in at least two modalities, as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high-quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Produces high-quality images in a safe and efficient manner
- Completes required exams and sends studies to the reading station for radiologist review
- Completes all associated documentation
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program, CT/MRI registry eligible
- 2 years of clinical experience in more than one modality
- ARRT CT/MRI registry eligible required
- ARRT (R) certification and documentation of CT or MRI experience
- Must obtain advanced credential in CT or MRI within one year of hire
- AHA BLS certification
- State license if required
Preferred: ARRT CT or MRI certification.
