Multimodality Sonographer (Ultrasound Tech)
Job Summary
The Diagnostic Sonographer (US) Tech 3 is an advanced-level technologist competent in multiple modalities and capable of providing technical guidance, training, and quality oversight. This role functions with minimal supervision and serves as a resource for other staff.
The Diagnostic Sonographer (US) Tech 4 is an expert-level sonographer with advanced competency in cardiac and vascular imaging and recognized as a clinical leader in the department. This position acts as the supervisor in their absence.
Minimum Qualifications for the Job
Diagnostic Sonographer 3: Education - Completion of an accredited sonography program
Experience - One (1) Year Ultrasound experience
License(s) - None
Certification(s) - ARDMS certification, BLS, registered in adult echo or two non-cardiac specialties and competent in vascularDiagnostic Sonographer 4: Education - Completion of an accredited sonography program
Experience - Three (3) Year’s Ultrasound experience
License(s) - None
Certification(s) - ARDMS certification, BLS, registered in adult echo or two non-cardiac specialties and competent in vascular
Pay Information
Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
External Hires: Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based upon relevant experience.
Diagnostic Sonographer 3 starts at $48.13 per hour
Diagnostic Sonographer 4 starts at $50.07 per hour
