About the role
Operate complex imaging equipment, including X-ray and specialized modalities such as CAT scans, to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries.
Responsibilities
- Proper patient positioning
- Developing radiographs
- Maintaining radiographic files
- Supervising support staff for quality control
- Performing related tasks as needed
- Travel to various locations is required
Requirements
- At least two years of diagnostic imaging experience in hospital or private labs
- Graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program or Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred)
- Valid license and current registration from the New York State Department of Health
- Certification and current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
