Multimedia Visual Designer
About the role
Echodyne is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Multimedia Designer to join our growing marketing team. This is a designer-first role for an early-career or developing multidisciplinary creative with strong graphic design fundamentals, demonstrated video-editing and motion-design skills, and an interest in expanding their capabilities in 3D visualization.
Working closely with the Creative Director, the Multimedia Designer will absorb a meaningful share of Echodyne's day-to-day creative production while helping the team gradually build stronger in-house video, motion, and 3D capabilities. The work spans marketing collateral, event graphics and promotional materials, print and digital advertising, website graphics, presentations, social content, video, animation, and customer-facing sales support.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce marketing collateral, event graphics, promotional items, print and digital advertising, website graphics, presentations, social content, and sales-support materials
- Apply strong typography, composition, visual hierarchy, and brand judgment across a wide variety of formats and audiences
- Adapt campaign concepts and established creative direction into accurate, polished deliverables across multiple sizes, channels, and production specifications
- Edit video content for product storytelling, digital campaigns, social media, websites, presentations, customer communications, and events
- Create motion graphics, animated typography, product callouts, transitions, explainers, and other visual elements using After Effects or comparable tools
- Reformat and optimize video and motion content for different platforms, aspect ratios, display environments, and distribution requirements
- Provide onsite creative support for video production, photography, interviews, product demos, and events as needed
- Use existing 3D models to create product imagery, simple animations, application scenes, and supporting elements for marketing content
- Develop practical capability in model cleanup, materials mapping, lighting, rendering, and animation under the direction of the Creative Director and with support from specialized resources when appropriate
- Organize and maintain image, video, design, and 3D asset libraries to ensure accessibility and consistency across teams
- Manage multiple assignments, communicate project status, and deliver accurate work on schedule
- Collaborate with marketing managers, product, sales, and leadership teams to understand requests and support business objectives through effective visual communication
