Multimedia Producer

About the role

The Multimedia Operations department at TelevisaUnivision is seeking a Multimedia Producer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with producers, sales coordinators, and technical operators to ensure successful on-air executions. This role demands hands-on involvement in editing, creating multimedia elements, manipulating creative artwork, and writing scripts.

Responsibilities

• Translate live broadcast media, promotional games and contests.
• Develop and deliver community empowerment programs and shows.
• Create editorial content for news and sports.
• Produce and deliver commercial spots for TV, radio, and digital platforms.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of multimedia graphics technologies, live production environment, and project management.
• Experience taking projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition).
• Understanding of livestreaming, virtual production environments, and field production equipment.
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Basic understanding of Gen AI tools for video, audio, and multimedia production.
• Strong PC and Mac computer skills.
• Experience with web design/motion graphics and similar visual tools.
• Experience with order management tools like Smartsheet or vCreative.
• Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 50 lbs, drive, stand, walk, and sit for up to 8 hours, flexible schedule (nights/weekends/holidays).

Qualifications

• Preferably a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Multimedia Production, Communications, or Digital Media.
• 3-4 years of experience with various types of multimedia (video, graphics, audio).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• A valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record.
