About the role
KVOA-TV, a strong NBC news station in Southern Arizona, is seeking a Multimedia Journalist.
Responsibilities
- On-air reporting
- Selling and editing video
- Writing
- Producing on deadline
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as an MMJ at a commercial television station
- A bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or a related field preferred
- An Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record
- The ability to lift and carry up to fifty pounds of equipment
- ENPS knowledge is a plus
Qualifications
A strong passion for storytelling, excellent writing and editing skills, good judgment, and a solid understanding of journalistic standards are essential.
Skills
- Strong on-camera presentation skills
- Ability to deliver live breaking news
