Multimedia Communications Specialist

Your Role

Develop high-quality multimedia content, including graphics, short-form videos, website visuals, infographics, social media assets, motion graphics, and other digital materials in support of NERC’s External Communications’ efforts.

Translate complex reliability, security, and regulatory topics into clear, accurate, and visually engaging communications products for NERC’s key audiences.

Create and maintain visual assets, templates, and digital asset libraries that align with NERC’s brand, editorial, and accessibility standards.

Manage social media content calendar; draft, schedule, and post content across NERC’s platforms, including LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.

Monitor social media activity, platform updates, and key metrics; provide recurring media and digital reporting, including daily news clips, weekly sentiment reporting, and other quarterly communications products and social media performance reports.

Ensure deliverables meet technical specifications for relevant platforms and formats (website, intranet, social media, presentations, etc.).

Present creative ideas, concepts, and design rationale to the External Communications team and internal stakeholders.
