Multilingual Outreach and Support Specialist - Education Consultant 3

About the role

As the Multilingual Outreach and Support Specialist, you will lead ongoing, community-based outreach efforts and ensure meaningful two-way communication with traditionally underserved communities, while also supporting programs within the Public Engagement Division.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and sustain direct family and community engagement (FACE) initiatives that ensure agency compliance with applicable state and federal stakeholder engagement and language access requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive multilingual resources and lead strategic, audience-responsive communication efforts for the division.
• Provide leadership in the design and execution of engagement strategies, while facilitating on-the-ground outreach with communities and ensuring stakeholder perspectives are actively incorporated into agency decision-making.

Minimum qualifications

Five (5) years of experience in community engagement which would include working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations. Experience must include:

• Experience conducting data analysis
• Experience providing training or giving presentations
• Project Management Experience

A Doctorate degree may substitute for two years of experience; a Master's degree may substitute for 18 months; a Bachelor's degree may substitute for one year; an Associate's degree may substitute for six months.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with non-profit, human services, or government organizations
• Experience working in K-12 settings

Pay

$39.22 - $58.35 per hour; $81,891 - $121,834 annually

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday - Friday, day shift
• Telework eligible: hybrid model; employees living within 50 miles of the Minneapolis office must work in the office at least 50% of the time each month
• Travel required: up to 40%
