Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of three years of teaching experience and possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR be eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
- REPA/REPA 3 Licensure Options: English as a New Language P-12 Teachers of English Learners P-12
- Must be able to transport self to various locations within the greater Fort Wayne area.
Essential functions
- Provide tutoring service to Title III Non-Public students in English language development.
- Identify Title III Non-Public students under the guidance of the Local Education Authority (LEA) using criteria outlined in the rules and regulations covering Title III.
- Collaborate with teachers of Title III Non-public students to align English language development instruction with general education curriculum.
- Tutor Title III Non-public students in the area of English language development. Both individually and in small groups in an area outside of the classroom setting; monitor student progress.
- Regularly consult with LEA regarding Title III services for the Non-public site(s).

- They may occasionally be required to bend at the waist, kneel, or Crouch.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job the incumbent is seated or walking at will and must be able to push, pull, lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
