Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of ground-up wood-frame podium multifamily projects from preconstruction through final turnover
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls
- Coordinate with Superintendents, architects, engineers, consultants, ownership groups, and subcontractors
- Lead subcontractor procurement, contract negotiations, and buyout activities
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Monitor project progress and proactively mitigate schedule, budget, and quality risks
- Facilitate owner and stakeholder meetings while maintaining strong project communication
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Track project financial performance and provide accurate forecasting and reporting
- Support project closeout, punch-list completion, and turnover activities
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience as a Project Manager in multifamily construction
- Proven experience managing ground-up wood-frame podium multifamily projects
- Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and subcontractor relationships
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Strong knowledge of scheduling software and construction management platforms
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
