Multicraft Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair 480V three-phase electrical systems, motors, controls, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission, steam, and other mechanical systems.
• Perform welding and fabrication activities to support equipment repairs, modifications, and reliability improvements.
• Support equipment repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Work closely with Maintenance and Production to resolve equipment issues and improve reliability.
• Install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and assist with controls-related diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and follow established safety procedures.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Highly proficient in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair, and welding and fabrication.
• Strong ability to diagnose root causes of mechanical and electrical failures and perform reliable repairs independently.
• Experience working with 480V 3-phase systems, motors, controls, PLCs, and VFDs.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, meters, and mechanical service tools.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, and support operational goals.
