Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and infrastructure systems
- Perform preventative maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and facility systems (HVAC, chillers, air compressors)
- Support automation and equipment upgrade projects alongside engineering
- Learn or apply PLC and control system fundamentals
- Lead Technicians serve as subject matter experts in high-level troubleshooting, fabrication, and project support. They provide mentorship and training to team members but do not have direct supervisory responsibilities, as salaried supervisors manage people and shift operations.
Requirements
- 0–6+ years of industrial maintenance experience (placement based on skill level)
- Hands-on problem-solving skills in mechanical, electrical, or facility systems
- Familiarity with HVAC, compressed air, chilled water systems, and PLC basics
- Ability to read schematics, follow safety standards, and use CMMS systems
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred

Qualifications
A clear, skill-based advancement track through Multicraft Technician I–III and Lead
Mentorship from experienced, long-tenured technicians and leaders
Cross-training in mechanical, electrical, automation, and infrastructure systems
Skills
- Industrial maintenance experience
- Hands-on problem-solving skills
- Understanding of HVAC, compressed air, chilled water systems, and PLC basics
- Ability to read schematics and follow safety standards
- CMMS system proficiency
