Multi Unit Facilities Repair Technician

About the role

Hogsalt is seeking a Full Time Multi-Unit Facilities Repair Technician to support our current properties and future development projects.

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform repairs in the following areas (but not limited to): Plumbing, Electrical, Kitchen equipment and appliances, Light millwork, Painting, Doors, Tile work
• Oversees preventative maintenance programs to support Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration, Kitchen hot line equipment, Grease trap cleaning, Kitchen exhaust hood cleaning and mechanicals, and any other areas that can be maintained to prolong the life of the equipment and prevent issues before they arise.
• Collaborates with other facilities personnel on various projects.
• Responds to maintenance requests from stores in a timely fashion.
• Performs regular property inspections.
• Advises store managers on a variety of technical engineering issues.
• Available on a 24-hour basis in order to address building emergencies during on call shifts.
• Reports to Facilities Director, Facilities Manager and other members of the Director team.
• Light millwork and construction projects

Requirements

• Must be available to work a minimum of 28 hours up to 40 hours a week - shifts are Sunday-Thursday.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a multi-unit facilities maintenance position.
• Excellent operational knowledge of kitchen facilities and equipment.
• Experience with new builds and renovations.
• Must be able to provide reliable vehicle.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred, but not required.
