Multi-stop Delivery Driver with MedCard (Class 3)

Position Overview

C&S Wholesale Grocers seeks to establish the safest, most efficient, and customer-focused fleet in the nation. New drivers will join the team under the guidance of a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT), who will coach on the C and S Way, encompassing both company and regulatory standards.

Job Description

As a Professional Driver, you will start your career with C&S by working closely with a PDT to learn and apply the C and S Way. After completing the new hire training program, you will be responsible for delivering products and services to customers, ensuring all operations are conducted safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.

Contribute By:

• Utilizing specialized skills developed through training and experience
• Transporting and delivering product safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading product at customer sites
• Inspecting and documenting equipment compliance with regulatory and company requirements
• Performing all other assigned duties

Travel Required:

• Yes
• Warehouse environments: Freezer (-20F to 0F), Perishable (28F to 60F), Grocery (50F to 90F)

Skills

• At least 21 years old
• Valid DOT physical exam
• DOT certification with all qualification requirements
• Experience working with people and focusing on quality and customer service
• Compliance with FMCSR, DOT, and company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of driving and delivering experience
• One year of recent applicable experience
• Attendance, initiative, productivity, quality, and safety
• Values-driven approach
