About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides general nursing care to patients, families, and caregivers within a medical practice setting. They collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to support patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient data and measurements
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures
• Support self-care and management plans
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe environment
• Participate in quality improvement and continuing education initiatives
• Communicate effectively with team members and respond to patient requests
• Adhere to professional standards, policies, and the organization's values

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program
• Current NYS licensure as an LPN
• Basic Life Support certification within six weeks of hire

Qualifications

Preferred candidates may hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
