Multi-Skilled Operator III [C]

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for well operations, including gas lifted wells and ESPs (Electric Submersible Pumps)
• Operates three-phase separation systems and gas compression equipment
• Performs control board operation and pipeline operation
• Conducts minor maintenance on valves, pumps, and rotating equipment
• Assists other operators and craft personnel in their duties
• Prepares for and performs maintenance tasks, including taking readings, conducting rounds, issuing work permits, following procedures, initiating work requests, and writing procedures
• Interfaces with support groups to optimize chemical pump rates based on production data (corrosion, paraffin, soap injection, etc.)
• Works with Engineering to fulfill data gathering requests
• Tracks test compression data
• Conducts fluid levels using an echo meter
• Proactively monitors well and equipment performance and takes appropriate action to maximize production

Required And Preferred Skills And Experience

• Experienced level, typically 5–7 years of experience
• Provides more technical/functional support than administrative support
• Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of technology, applications, terminology, and procedures required for the job function
• Performs varied and more complex tasks
• Makes decisions within broad parameters
