About the Role

Ace Handyman Services - Central Houston is a top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling company serving homes and businesses in Houston. We provide quality craftsmanship for all repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects, both large and small, inside and outside. We are currently seeking experienced Carpenters with skills in multiple trades to work out of their home on a full-time or part-time basis, using their own truck or van to travel to job sites in Houston.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality craftsmanship and customer service
• Work out of your home on your choice of a full time or part-time basis
• Travel to job sites in Houston
• Perform tasks such as Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, and Drywalling, as well as light Plumbing and Electrical
• Own standard set of tools to perform all of the above trades
• Own truck or van
• Pass a background check and drug screen

Requirements

• Strong work ethic
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Good overall knowledge of all trades
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to communicate and interact positively with various clients and colleagues
• Successful prior track record as a Carpenter/Craftsman
• Prior home inspection experience, strongly preferred
• Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Residence within 15 miles of the city of Houston
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong documentation and invoicing skills
