About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer On‑Call. The role requires adaptability to shift between missions, embracing change, and thriving in fast‑paced environments. As a Security Officer – Response, duties vary by day and special event, covering customer service, patrols, or surveillance with agility and precision. The position is based in Metro Detroit, MI.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED documentation
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Quick thinking and adaptability to changing situations
• Responsive with strong problem‑solving skills
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience a plus
• Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum age 21
• Clean 10‑year moving vehicle record
• Pass drug screen

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $19.05 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Schedule

Set schedule: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts; the shift varies and will be discussed during the interview.
