Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Passes background check, accreditation (no felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions for offenses relating to children)
• Valid Driver’s License and insurable

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment for children
• Promote Kanza Child Care Center (KCCC) positively to parents and the community
• Provide classroom management while main teachers are away
• Do laundry as needed and keep laundry room clean
• Cover shifts when teachers are absent, on lunch, or on break
• Maintain client confidentiality
• Attend local, state, regional, and national childcare meetings/training when deemed appropriate
• Help keep both buildings (School Age & Daycare) clean, including bathrooms, entryways, common areas, kitchen, and laundry rooms
• Help in all classrooms when and where needed
• Drive a van when needed, picking up students after school, and/or during field trips
• Keep inventory of supplies in laundry rooms and give orders to Supervisor when running low
• Be flexible in duties
• Complete any other duties as assigned by the immediate or controlling supervisor

Benefits
