Environmental Service Aid - #8230

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of housekeeping services to the hospital.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Utilize available resources and basic housekeeping skills.
• Complete general cleaning duties including linen delivery and removal, trash removal, furniture moving, and deep cleaning.
• Ensure all tasks are completed safely and in strict adherence to Infection Control.
• Remove and place trash in appropriate containers throughout the shift and before the end of the shift.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and uncontaminated environment by keeping work areas clean, sanitized, and orderly.
• Understand and use all products/chemicals for areas assigned.
• Report inventory levels and equipment issues to EVS Management team.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of Environmental Services experience.
• Flexible availability.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Must pass a Background Check.
• Must pass a Drug Test.
• Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
