Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans and MRIs as required.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate imaging equipment accurately and efficiently, following established protocols.
- Review and evaluate images for quality and consistency and identify any issues that may require re-imaging.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide detailed reports.
- Maintain patient records and imaging documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety practices, to protect patients, staff, and yourself.
- Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients regarding procedures and address any concerns or questions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities and professional organizations.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Comply with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or related field preferred.
- Certification and licensure as required by state and federal regulations (e.g., ARRT Certification).
- Proven experience as a Multi-Modality Technologist, with expertise in operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, and safety practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
