Multi Modality CT Technologist

About the role

The Multi-Modality CT Technologist in hospital setting is responsible for performing CT and diagnostic exams on patients as requested by the referring physicians. This position also involves assisting radiologists in performing CT imaging procedures, selecting proper protocols to obtain optimal images, providing clinical documentation, preparing equipment and instrumentation, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs all radiology and CT exams and procedures in accordance with RHS policy and procedures.
• Selects proper protocol to obtain optimal images and provides clinical documentation per scope of practice.
• Assists radiologists in performing CT imaging procedures.
• Performs with a high degree of safety and quality and prevents or reduces harms through knowledge and application of policies, procedures, protocols using safety behaviors.
• Prepares equipment, instrumentation, and departmental supplies required to support quality patient care.
• Follows ALARA principles according to policy.
• Understands and adheres to all applicable regulatory and accrediting standards.
• Reports variances.
• Captures and documents patient care effectively and efficiently.
• Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and materials to ensure non-interruption of services.
• Works in a fast-paced environment with detail-oriented abilities and organizational skills.

Requirements

• CT experience (Preferred).
• Radiologic Technologists - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiology (R) upon hire (Required).
• Radiologic Technologists - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Computed Tomography (CT) upon hire (Required).
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) upon hire (Required).

Qualifications

• Detail oriented ability to multi-task organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

• Knowledge of CT imaging procedures and protocols.
• Ability to prepare and explain exams to patients.
• High level of safety and quality awareness.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.

Benefits

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 and the new team member incentive program, which offers a bonus of up to $20,000 over the course of your first 2 years with Riverside.

Pay

Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs. The hiring range is $36.50 - $50.23 hourly.

Schedule

Schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sundays 0700-1900. Call and Holidays required.
