Location: West Bend, WI (on-site at CP-WEST BEND HEALTH CENTER)

FTE: 0.800 (32 hours/week)
Shift: Monday–Thursday 9:30 AM–8:00 PM, Friday 9:30 AM–6:00 PM, Saturday–Sunday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (7 days on, 7 days off)
Holidays: Some rotation
Sign-on bonus: $10,000

About the role

At the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, prepares patients, performs imaging procedures, and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary.

Currently works in two or more of the following modalities and meets the requirements of advanced certification: Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to radiation protection measures and organizational protocols
  • Provide customer service and communication with patients, visitors, and staff
  • Perform ancillary services and assist in patient care areas as needed

Requirements

  • Post high school completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program (required)
  • One year of current clinical experience in each modality (preferred)
  • ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer (required)
  • Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography, or Bone Density within 18 months of hire/transfer (required)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or equivalent within 90 days of hire (required)

Additional 1–2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field (preferred).
