About the Role
Responsible for operating x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and/or mammography equipment to support diagnostic imaging services. Assists in achieving departmental goals and creates an environment conducive to operational efficiency. Performs at least three imaging modalities regularly, ensuring quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic, mammographic, CT, and ultrasound exams.
- Transport and position patients safely.
- Prepare contrast agents and perform mobile imaging as needed.
- Ensure equipment safety checks and perform emergency procedures if necessary.
- Assist in maintaining a safe environment and adhere to organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology required; Bachelor's or Master's preferred.
- Minimum of three years' technical experience preferred.
- Valid state radiologic technician license and ARRT certification required.
- Current certification in at least one advanced modality (e.g., CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography).
- CPR/BLS certification required.
