About the role
I opened my agency in 2000 and currently lead a small but growing team of two. Before becoming an agent with State Farm, I worked in claims management, which gave me a strong understanding of the customer experience and the importance of doing things the right way.
I’m a graduate of Texas State University (formerly Southwest Texas State University). I have two children and four grandchildren, and family is a big part of my life.
Our culture is close-knit and family-oriented, with a small office environment where everyone works together. We stay involved in the local community and value building connections with the people we serve.

Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide available product information.
- Aid in developing relationships with new and existing customers across multiple product lines.
- Support daily office operations, including documentation, scheduling, and follow-up activities.
- Participate in marketing efforts to promote awareness within the community.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve office objectives.
Qualifications
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in customer service, business support, or insurance preferred.
- Must possess or be able to obtain necessary state insurance licenses.
Pay
$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
