Mulesoft Lead Developer

About the role

Design and run the migration of existing services and implementation from MuleSoft Version 3x to 4x. Develop new integrations to support new application and functionality deployments in ecommerce, supply chain, master data management, and CRM spaces.

Responsibilities

• Design schemas to align with enterprise standards where applicable to enable information breadth, consumability, and portability.
• Select the appropriate method of integration (API/queue) and triggering mechanisms (API call based on a business event, publishing a payload based on a business event, or polling-based invocation of API).
• Adhere to established development standards, including exception handling, notifications, and versioning.
• Develop SOAP/REST services as needed with XML/JSON payloads.
• Deliver assigned integrations on time with solid initial quality.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience developing integrations using SOA principles in the EAI space.
• Experience working on MuleSoft Version 3x and 4x and Java (mandatory).
• Experience building API/pub-sub integrations using Mule.
• Expertise in designing scalable, functional, and high-performing schemas.
• Domain awareness in master data management, supply chain, or CRM is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve production issues or development-time challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to convey schema design to both functional and technical stakeholders supporting source/target applications.
