About the role

We Are Accenture's North America MuleSoft practice, which is one of the largest and most experienced networks of MuleSoft professionals in the world. We help leading organizations modernize their businesses through APIs, integration, automation, and emerging AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support MuleSoft APIs and integrations based on technical designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Build integration solutions using Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, Mule Runtime, DataWeave, connectors, flows, and reusable components.
• Develop and maintain MUnit tests; support integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Follow established development standards, coding conventions, documentation requirements, and API-led connectivity practices.
• Support releases across development, test, and production environments; monitor logs and assist with incidents and root cause analysis.
• Participate in peer reviews, Agile ceremonies, knowledge transfer, and learning activities with onshore and offshore team members.
• Use AI and GenAI tools responsibly to support productivity, documentation, and development, while validating technical accuracy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience of hands-on software development, development lifecycle practices, Java fundamentals, and object-oriented concepts.
• Minimum of 2 years experience developing SOAP or REST services/APIs including XML, JSON, YAML, and web services.
• Minimum of 2 years experience of Git, Agile delivery, unit testing, logging, exception handling, debugging, and troubleshooting API or integration issues.
• Minimum of 1 year experience of professional hands-on MuleSoft development with Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, Mule Runtime, DataWeave, REST APIs, MuleSoft connectors, flows, and integration components.
• MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 certification, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Qualifications

• Experience working with Anypoint MQ, API Manager, Anypoint Exchange, and CloudHub deployments.
• Experience integrating Salesforce, SAP, Workday, Oracle Cloud Applications, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Experience with SOAP services, legacy integrations, enterprise integration patterns, CI/CD automation, AWS, Azure, containers, or cloud-native technologies.
• Exposure to Flex Gateway, API governance, Model Context Protocol architectures, agentic integration, or GenAI-assisted development, testing, and documentation.
• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP), agentic integration patterns, and GenAI-assisted API development, testing, documentation, or code generation.
• Experience with enterprise application implementations, distributed delivery teams, HL7 or FHIR, or integration platforms such as Boomi, Informatica, SnapLogic, or Workato.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver assignments on schedule.

Pay

Annual Salary Range: California $70,350 to $196,000, Cleveland $59,100 to $156,800, Colorado $63,800 to $169,300, District of Columbia $68,000 to $180,300, Illinois $59,100 to $169,300, Maine $54,400 to $144,300, Maryland $63,800 to $169,300, Massachusetts $63,800 to $180,300, Minnesota $63,800 to $169,300, New York $66,300 to $196,000, New Jersey $68,000 to $196,000, Virginia $59,100 to $180,300, Washington $80,200 to $180,300

Schedule

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
