Mulesoft Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support MuleSoft integrations, APIs, and microservices.
• Build and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Integrate cloud-based applications with legacy mainframe systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
• Participate in solution design, testing, deployments, and production support.
• Troubleshoot issues and support application modernization initiatives.
• Contribute to Agile development, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering and integration experience.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft integration development.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with AWS cloud development.
• Experience integrating with legacy mainframe systems, preferably within insurance or financial services environments.
• Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Knowledge of TypeScript and modern development practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating with insurance policy administration systems such as CAPSIL, INGENIUM, or similar platforms (preferred).
• Experience connecting modern API-based applications to legacy mainframe environments (preferred).
• Insurance, annuity, or financial services industry experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot (preferred).
