Overview
The Mudd Center for Ethics at Washington and Lee University invites applications for a 13-week Scholar-in-Residence Fellowship during the Winter Term, 2027 (starting early January).
Responsibilities
- Pursue original research during the residency
- Contribute to the Mudd Fellows' program
- Deliver a public lecture or serve as a discussant for one of the Center's public events
- Teach an advanced seminar in the scholar's area of specialization
Qualifications
- Hold a PhD
- Be a senior scholar who is also an excellent teacher
- Engage in ethics and memory studies
- Contribute meaningfully to a vibrant academic community at a small liberal arts institution
- Be on campus and actively engaged in academic and community life at least three days per week

Pay
This Thirteen-week, Stipend-based Fellowship includes a stipend.
