MTO-Plug Machine Operator

Essential Job Functions

• Understand basic CNC programming for setting up production runs and modifying existing programs.
• Perform basic data entry functions.
• Operate manual tool grinders, disk grinders, and centerless grinders.
• Utilize measuring equipment to inspect product for accurate diameter tolerances.
• Monitor part conformance and adjust manufacturing equipment as needed.
• Maintain established production levels and quality production standards.
• Remake or rework products that do not meet required specifications.
• Input basic data entries using internal computer programs.
• Follow company policies, ergonomic standards, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent with comparable knowledge and abilities.
• Experience with basic computer skills and operating in Windows and non-Windows formats.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with colleagues.
• Mechanically inclined, though not required.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and perform basic mathematical functions including fractions, decimals, and conversions.
• Have a working knowledge of basic geometry and trigonometry.
• Be able to perform basic computer tasks and operate in both Windows and non-Windows environments.
