About the role

Zachary Piper Solutions, LLC is seeking an Endpoint Security Architect with a security clearance. The position is based in Linthicum Heights, Maryland, 21061.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement endpoint security solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security architecture aligns with business objectives
• Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
• Stay current with emerging threats and technologies in the field

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in IT architecture or security
• Security clearance required
• Experience with cloud-based security solutions
• Strong understanding of network security protocols and best practices

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Skills

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CIS, etc.
• Experience with security tools and platforms like SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, etc.
• Experience with cloud services providers like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
