About the role

Mexican Sugar is searching for our next great experience makers for our guests escaping to a fresher, lighter, better Latin experience. We serve sultry Mexican comfort with service that is two steps ahead of the guest's every need—passionate, graceful under fire, and always in control.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comforting, effortless, warm service that anticipates and meets the guest’s every need.
• Know the origins, pronunciations, and ingredients of our menu items as if you grew up with them.
• Recommend the perfect drinks for any occasion, from handcrafted margaritas to premium tequilas and wines.
• Create regular guests through resort-style service that is bilingual, detailed, and never stuffy or pretentious.
• Inspire and support teammates by sharing expertise.
• Maintain a balance of exceptional service and efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of serving experience; high-end casual or fine dining preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in using knives and other necessary equipment.
• Current Food Handler’s Certification and TABC Certification.
• Adherence to proper sanitation procedures and alcohol service regulations.
