About the role
Munich Re Specialty Group North America (MRSG N.A.) is seeking a full-time Account Manager, Business Solutions to join the Roanoke Insurance Group division. Candidates may be based in one of our US offices (Schaumburg, IL, New York, NY, Charleston, SC, Miami, FL, Long Beach, CA) or work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Assist service team with updating client files in the Agency Management System
- Respond promptly to client and internal communications
- Maintain a follow-up system to ensure timely processing of requests
- Handle underwriter requests for renewal information and follow up to completion
- Communicate regularly with management and sales staff regarding account information
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Create and maintain positive customer relationships
- Provide backup support as needed
Requirements
- +5 years Commercial Insurance experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Resident Insurance License in home domicile state
- P&C coverage knowledge required, Marine experience a plus
- Excellent time management, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Well organized with attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and decision-making abilities
- Able to work independently and manage tasks effectively
- Self-disciplined, dependable, and self-motivated
- Thorough knowledge of insurance terms, practices, and policies
About Us
We are open to considering candidates in various locations, including Schaumburg, IL. The base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000.
