MRO Site Representative Overview
The MRO Site Representative is responsible for all maintenance that occurs at that station for which they are assigned (e.g. heavy maintenance facility, paint facility, etc.). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, monitoring all tasks and WO issued to Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO). Ensure that all tasks are performed and signed off correctly in accordance with company policy.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the activities of contracted MRO services
- Aid in the request or procurement of urgently needed technical data required by contracted MRO
- Act as a liaison between contracted MRO and SCA Maintenance/Quality Departments and maintain a continuous line of communication
- Review contract MRO invoices and verify charges in coordination with Maintenance Planning Management
- Maintain a continuous line of communication between contracted MRO and SCA Maintenance/Quality Management
- Perform pre dock, daily work-in progress and post dock surveillance of SCA aircraft undergoing maintenance to ensure all maintenance and required documentation is being completed in accordance with Sun Country Airlines General Maintenance Manual (GMM)
- Initiate data collection and communication for required regulatory and company reports (SDR, corrosion reports, etc.)
- Coordinate with Maintenance Planners to ensure efficient accomplishment of Mods and heavy check work packages
- Ensure Maintenance Providers are staying on task to meet agreed upon delivery schedules
- Make timely and decisive decisions to maintain the footprint of the planned maintenance event
- Utilize company computer systems to provide continuous updates to SCA and to monitor progress of the project
- Work closely with Maintenance Control personnel in trouble shooting items that require special attention and coordination
- Assist maintenance provider with additional support/research required from other SCA departments such as: Engineering, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Materials, Planning, Maintenance Control, Records, Technical Publications, TRAX/IT, Dispatch, Ground Ops, etc.
- Cook conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards, and with any internal policies and procedures identified by Sun Country Airlines
Required Qualifications
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years Aircraft Maintenance or related Technical Operations experience
- Foundational understanding of aircraft scheduled maintenance
- Ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with inter-departmental personnel in meeting Sun Country objectives
- Must be able to travel outside of the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Previous experience with heavy maintenance 737ng, 737max, or A320/319
- Experienced in using AMM, IPC, SRM, CMM and MPD
- Heavy maintenance experience
Compensation
$90,000.00 - $105,000.00. This is the base compensation hiring range for this role.
