MRO Electrical Engineer
About the role
Barfield is a subsidiary of Air France Industries KLM Engineering and is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will support the Engineering Department by designing, developing, and testing electrical test equipment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze technical documentation
- Evaluate test bench design
- Determine specifications
- Design electrical requirements
- Program test benches
- Use computer aided design software
- Work with mechanical engineer on design
- Select and order components
- Supervise manufacturing process
- Train technicians
- Troubleshoot test benches
- Provide improvement solutions
- Analyze test data
- Read schematics
- Write engineering procedures
- Perform preliminary and performance testing
- Provide support and training to technicians
Requirements
- Knowledge in electrical designs using Orcad Capture
- Knowledge in designs of electrical test benches
- Knowledge in electrical systems and designs
- Knowledge in Programming using Labview, Visual Basic, C code or other
- Knowledge in standard office software
- Experience in manufacturing of electrical test equipment to supervise assembly
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Aeronautical Engineering

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
