Job Duties
- Manage material procurement and order entry to support daily operations.
- SOURCE AND PURCHASE GOODS AND SERVICES REQUIRED FOR PRODUCTION AND MAINTENANCE.
- UTILIZE PROCUREMENT TOOLS AND SYSTEMS (IMPC, PMCS, IM MALL, ARIBA, ETC.) FOR TRACKING AND MANAGING PURCHASES.
- PREPARE AND RELEASE PURCHASE ORDERS BASED ON APPROVED REQUIREMENTS.
- REQUEST QUOTATIONS AND NEGOTIATE THE BEST PRICING FOR MATERIALS AND SERVICES.
- REGISTER AND VALIDATE SUPPLIERS TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH COMPANY STANDARDS.
- COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY ACROSS TEAMS AND WITH SUPPLIERS, BOTH VERBALLY AND IN WRITING.
- APOPLY STRONG ANALYTICAL, NEGOTIATION, AND ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS TO OPTIMIZE PROCUREMENT PROCESSES.
- MANTAIN CONFIDENTIALITY AND ADHERE TO COMPANY POLICIES.
- PARTICIPATE IN CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT INITIATIVES TO ENHANCE EFFICIENCY.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- PROVEN EXPERIENCE PURCHASING MRO SUPPLIES IN A MAQUILARIA OR HIGH-VOLUME MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT.
- STRONG BACKGROUND IN MANAGING OVERSEAS SUPPLIERS, INCLUDING KNOWLEDGE OF GLOBAL LOGISTICS AND CUSTOMS PROCESSES.
- ADVANCED PROFICIENCY IN MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE:
- Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, data analysis).
- PowerPoint (presentations).
- Outlook (communication and scheduling).
- FAMILIARITY WITH MICROSOFT 365 TOOLS (TEAMS, SHAREPOINT, PLANNER); POWER BI EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS.
- STRONG NEGOTIATION AND SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT SKILLS.
- ANALYTICAL MINDSET WITH EXCELLENT PROBLEM-SOLVING AND DECISION-MAKING ABILITIES.
- EXCEPTIONAL ATTENTION TO DETAIL, ORGANIZATIONAL, AND TIME-MANAGEMENT SKILLS.
- ABILITY TO COLLABORATE EFFECTIVELY WITH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS.
