About the role

Performs those duties directly involved with the completion of all requested procedures of the Imaging Department with regards to Quality and Quantity, providing services to all inpatients and outpatients of all age groups.

Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff.

Responsibilities

  • Performs MRI procedures according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Ensures accurate documentation of patient information and imaging results.
  • Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to interpret and communicate imaging findings.
  • Maintains a safe and sterile environment for patient care.
  • Adheres to HIPAA regulations and maintains patient confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) required.
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) required.
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate.

  • Proficiency in MRI equipment operation.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
